Last Sunday I finished 18th in Xterra Czech short track, and while I won't be standing on any podiums, or starring in the livestream, for me this is still a win.

Xterra Weston Park - an epic return! It was worth the 8-year wait to see Xterra back on UK shores. I never thought I'd race in an elite field again, let alone stand on a podium with Alistair Brownlee! (Albeit a few steps lower down)

It’s been over a year now since retiring from elite triathlon. I was lucky enough to retire sort-of on my own terms - not forced by injury or being dropped from a team.

It was October 2020 - mid covid pandemic, we had to decide as a family whether I would carry on racing for 1 more year after everything I worked for in 2020 got cancelled!

It's been a while since I last posted - a few life events have taken priority! Selling our house, relocating to Dorset, buying a new house, knocking walls down - along with other DIY, unpacking our life and looking for new jobs here meant social media has fallen way down the to-do list!
